In partnership with TerraPass in 2008, AirSprint developed a program to offset the estimated carbon dioxide generated from all of its corporate activities. TerraPass is a provider of offset programs to the private aviation industry, as well as many others. TerraPass funds clean energy and efficiency projects that result in a direct reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. TerraPass offset purchases are verified against industry standards by an independent third party.
A number of AirSprint owners asked AirSprint to investigate the option of balancing out the carbon impact from the use of their aircraft. AirSprint's current TerraPass program is voluntary and proactive in offering our clients the option of "going green" with AirSprint.
