Type: Full-Time / Temporary (18 Months)

The Big Picture:

We’re looking for a strategic and creative HR Advisor to join our team! As an HR Advisor you understand the importance of establishing and supporting a people-centered approach. You intuitively understand your key role in developing and implementing HR strategies and programs that are aligned with AirSprint’s business goals and objectives. As a seasoned HR professional, you love building and fostering relationships both within the organization and with external stakeholders and community partners.


In this role you will:

  • Have a thorough understanding of relevant legislation and HR best practices, and apply that knowledge across the full scope of HR functions including recruitment; performance management; employee relations; total compensation; learning and development; health, safety, and wellness; employee engagement; and retention
  • Coach and advise managers on all aspects of people management
  • Build trusting relationships, have difficult conversations, and influence outcomes with managers through depth and breadth of understanding of their business needs
  • Collaborate with leadership to build an engaging recruitment brand that fosters equity, diversity, and inclusion
  • Develop innovative recruitment strategies to build, develop, and retain organizational capacity, and lead the full-cycle recruitment process
  • Ensure employee onboarding program is aligned with business needs and organizational culture
  • Manage HR technology resources, including configuration, troubleshooting and maintenance of human capital management software (Ceridian Dayforce) and people data.


To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • A minimum of five years’ related experience. Preference will be given to candidates with strong recruitment experience
  • Expertise configuring and managing employee and position data in a human capital management software tool
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)
  • Verbal and written proficiency in English


Bonus points if you have:

  • Experience configuring and managing employee and position data in Ceridian Dayforce
  • Verbal and written proficiency in French
  • Have or are working towards a CPHR designation
