So. Pa is an all-day outdoor restaurant at L’Horizon that offers a contemporary take on its dishes with a Middle Eastern flair. So. Pa is a great upscale outdoor dining experience and the perfect place for a beautiful date night.
What to do
Palm Springs is probably most famous for having been the playground for many of Hollywood’s biggest stars including Marilyn Monroe, Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Carey Grant and many, many more. Because of this Palm Springs has also become a mecca for golf lovers with over 120 golf courses calling the Coachella Valley home.
Due to its ideal weather conditions you’ll never be at a loss to find a beautiful, well maintained golf course. If you’re heading to Palm Springs in April, you can also check out the LPGA’s first major of the season, the ANA Inspiration hosted annually at the Dinah Shore Tournament Course. Palm Springs also plays host to the PGA Tour every January with the Desert Classic hosted at PGA West’s Stadium and Jack Nicklaus Tournament Resort Courses as well as at the historic La Quinta Country Club.
If Golf is not your thing, there are still lost of things to do around the Coachella Valley including the Living Desert Zoo, The Aerial Tram and tons of great hiking options. Palm Springs is also a short, scenic 1.5 hour drive or 30 minute flight from San Diego and Los Angeles aboard the Legacy 450.
Coachella Music Festival
Every April, Palm Springs and the Coachella Valley play host to Coachella Music Festival. What may very well be the most recognizable festival in the world, Coachella spans two weekends – April 12-14 and April 19-21 – and hosts some of the biggest names in Music including: Childish Gambino, Ariana Grande, Diplo and Weezer.
If you only have time to enjoy the Coachella Festival experience, no problem!
