PRESS RELEASE: STRATHMORE, ALBERTA

AirSprint Inc., Canada’s authority in Fractional Jet Ownership, is proud to announce its participation in the 2025 Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, which will take place July 19th and 20th in Strathmore, Alberta. This amazing initiative reflects AirSprint’s ongoing dedication to supporting its community.

Once again, cyclists from all over the province will gather at the starting line of Alberta's biggest cycling fundraiser, the Enbridge Tour Alberta for Cancer, which supports life-changing cancer research and care. The ride is in support of the most courageous Albertans who have shown their strength through a cancer experience.

Cancer has touched the lives of too many people we love and admire. This ride is a way to honour them, support those still fighting, and contribute to research and care that gives hope to every family facing cancer.” said Marry Vanderkooi, Vice President of Finance & CFO at AirSprint. “This year, I’m riding in the Tour Alberta for Cancer for three very personal reasons, each one close to my heart.”

With over $53,000 raised to date, thanks to the incredible support of our corporate sponsors (Honeywell Aerospace, Cessna + Beechcraft by Textron Aviation, AXIS, WYVERN Ltd., GoGo Business Aviation, SureWx, World Fuel Services, and Polaris Aero), as well as our friends and families, the AirSprint Team is proud to support life-changing cancer research and care. As AirSprint celebrates 25 years, our team is honoured to once again ride in support of a cause that truly matters.

In 2024, during its 16th year, more than 1,400 Tour Alberta cyclists raised over $7.4 million for Albertans facing cancer—surpassing an incredible milestone of $100 million to date. The Alberta Cancer Foundation acts as a beacon of hope by empowering and uniting Albertans around a common purpose, investing in the future of cancer research and care, and ensuring no Albertan facing cancer walks alone.

This year’s 16-member AirSprint Team, made up of both seasoned and first-time riders, is ready to put their best pedal forward in the collective fight against cancer. Together, we’re not just riding; we’re making a difference.
