AirSprint | One of Canada’s Best Managed Companies for Sixth Consecutive Year

Posted on Wednesday, 7 May 2025

PRESS RELEASE: TORONTO, ONTARIO

AirSprint Inc., the Canadian authority in Fractional Jet Ownership, has once again been recognized for its industry-leading performance, strong global business practices, and sustained growth. Announced today, AirSprint has received the prestigious 2025 Canada's Best Managed Companies award for the sixth consecutive year, maintaining its Gold Standard status. The Canada's Best Managed Companies program honours excellence in privately-owned Canadian companies with revenues of $50 million or more. Recipients are evaluated on their leadership in strategy, culture and commitment, capabilities, innovation, governance and financial performance.

"Earning the 2025 Best Managed Companies recognition is a proud milestone as we celebrate 25 years of service," said James Elian, President & CEO of AirSprint. "Since 2000, we've reimagined private aviation—setting new benchmarks for safety, reliability, and personalized service. Today, AirSprint leads the Canadian private aviation industry, operating approximately 30% of all Canadian private jet flights. We're honoured to have spent a quarter-century establishing the standard for excellence and excited for what lies ahead."

Canada's Best Managed Companies is one of the country's leading business awards programs recognizing innovative and world‑class businesses. Hundreds of entrepreneurial companies compete for this designation yearly in a rigorous and independent evaluation process. Applicants are evaluated by an independent panel of judges with representation from program sponsors and special guests.

In 2024, AirSprint continued its strong growth trajectory, expanding its fleet with the addition of three aircraft—bringing the total to 39 private jets. With one more aircraft added earlier this year, the fleet now totals 40. This growth enabled the team to complete nearly 38,000 flight hours in 2024 and travel more than 29 million kilometres, connecting Fractional Owners to 648 unique airports across North America and beyond. More than just numbers, these milestones reflect AirSprint's ongoing commitment to delivering seamless, personalized travel experiences. The company also solidified its role as a sustainability leader within the private aviation sector, reaching its goal of carbon offsetting every AirSprint flight.

"Last year, we made meaningful strides through the implementation of advanced technologies that enhance efficiency across every touchpoint of our operations," said Jared Williams, VP Operations & COO of AirSprint. "Automated training platforms and robust cloud data systems on the fleet have helped streamline internal processes while strengthening team preparedness. In parallel, upgrades such as the 5G Wi-Fi retrofit across our fleet are elevating the in-flight connectivity experience for our Fractional Owners."

The 2025 cohort of Best Managed Companies shares common themes, including fostering a people-centric culture, implementing a strategic company framework, investing in innovation and technological advancement, and maintaining financial resilience and strong corporate governance. "Over the past year, companies such as AirSprint have continually adapted and successfully responded to challenges, seized new opportunities, and leveraged industry-leading competencies to maximize their investments and drive sustainable growth," said Lorrie King, Partner, Deloitte Private, Global Best Managed Leader and Co-Leader, Canada's Best Managed Companies program. "These winners have set the standard of excellence for Canada's business ecosystem by demonstrating a strong commitment to strategic transformation, talent and workforce development, and technological and business adaptability."
